Christmas Travels

(Don't miss our new entry right below this one) We recently got back from our Christmas adventure. We started out by going to Portland to have Christmas with the Obers and to see Uncle Dan and his daughter Payton. After that we headed to Spokane to see the Towne's (parents and siblings). We then left on Christmas day to the east coast where we saw more family and had some fun! Our trip started by us going to North Carolina to visit Sara's Grandma's Siblings and their families. It was fun to meet them and to get a little taste of the South (big meals for one). We then headed to Richmond, VA where we saw my Uncle Alan and Aunt Betsy and my cousins. Aunt Betsy took us to see my Grandpa for a couple of hours the next day. Sara had not met any of this family, just as I hadn't met her family that we saw. Before leaving Richmond we visited Sara's great uncle and aunt Jim and Katherine. We then stayed at Uncle Dan's outside of D.C. where we visited the city and the museum of natural history. They had the national geographic pictures of the year... quite impressive! We then drove through six states in one day, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York seeing Baltimore (saw Sara's friend Mike), Philadelphia (saw the Liberty Bell and had a Phily cheese-stake) and ended up in New York city. In New York we did lots like saw Times Square, went to Nathan's where they have the world hot dog eating contest, went to Central Park, walked a lot and took the subway everywhere. Whew... Here are some pictures :)

Waiting for the ball to drop (it's behind my head, sorry)

Ball dropping (the red ball above the Toshiba sign) 21 seconds left (or 25 if you look at the bottome sign... kinda confusing, huh) Not quite as big as it looks on TV :)
